Privacy Policy
Mobile Eats is operated by ZestStream LLC for Missoula-area food truck discovery, community confirmations, and owner profile management.
1. Information We Collect
Contact Info
Owner or user names, email addresses, phone numbers, optional support contact details, and owner/truck contact details for sign-in, claim review, support, receipts, and opted-in product updates.
Location
Session-only map location can show nearby trucks. Community confirmations, sightings, truck submissions, photos, and owner updates may include precise or coarse location when a user submits it.
User Content
Truck submissions, stale-location reports, confirm-sighting reports, owner profile details, menus, schedules, photos, support messages, moderation reports, claim evidence, and other submitted content.
Identifiers
Supabase user IDs, owner IDs, Stripe customer or subscription IDs, first-party analytics client IDs, and persistent anonymous device IDs used for community integrity and first-party analytics.
Purchases and Financial Info
Stripe collects payment information for Mobile Eats. Mobile Eats stores Stripe identifiers, subscription state, purchase history, card display metadata, invoice or event IDs, and billing status.
Usage Data
First-party product interaction data such as route visits, feature usage, consent choices, saved-truck actions, checkout funnel events, owner tool events, community activity, and launch metrics.
Diagnostics
First-party crash, error, performance, web-vitals, route, user-agent, session, and operational diagnostic data through Mobile Eats' own event pipeline.
2. How We Use Information
- Show food trucks, maps, menus, schedules, community confirmations, and owner-published updates.
- Let owners claim trucks, sign in, manage profiles, update stops, and use paid owner tools.
- Let locals confirm sightings, report stale information, submit trucks, and improve public listings.
- Send requested account access messages, receipts, service notices, support replies, and opted-in product updates.
- Run Stripe-hosted billing, customer portal, subscription entitlement, receipts, dunning, refunds, and dispute support.
- Deduplicate submissions, reduce spam, review disputed content, moderate community reports, and protect trust in public data.
- Debug, secure, measure, and improve Mobile Eats.
- Meet legal, accounting, tax, safety, fraud-prevention, and dispute obligations.
3. Sharing With Third Parties
- Supabase provides authentication, database, storage, and account infrastructure.
- Stripe provides hosted billing, checkout, customer portal, payment processing, subscription, invoice, refund, and dispute services.
- Vercel provides hosting, deployment, edge, logging, and performance infrastructure.
- Cloudflare and related storage services may host user-submitted images and public assets.
- Google Analytics Measurement Protocol may receive minimized server-side purchase analytics for web and Stripe webhook events; Mobile Eats sends a salted hash of the Supabase auth UUID, not the raw UUID.
- Public users may see public truck facts, menus, schedules, photos, owner updates, and community confirmations submitted to the app.
- Legal, safety, tax, accounting, and compliance recipients may receive information when required by law or needed to protect the service.
Mobile Eats does not sell raw owner or user contact lists. The current iOS standalone app does not share app-collected user or device data with ad networks for cross-app or cross-site tracking.
4. Data Retention
Mobile Eats keeps information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain public truck accuracy, support billing and accounting, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
Signed-in users can delete their account in app at /account/delete. Deletion removes the Supabase sign-in, Mobile Eats profile rows, account push subscriptions, saved favorites, and account-linked community identifiers.
Stripe payment, invoice, dispute, tax, and legal-hold records may remain with Stripe. Mobile Eats retains a hashed deletion audit row for fraud, abuse, and deletion-proof review. Public truck facts and community content may remain after account identifiers are removed.
Anonymous browsing and community submissions do not create a Mobile Eats account. Anonymous device IDs are browser-local; clear browser or app storage to reset that device identifier.
5. Analytics and Your Choices
Mobile Eats uses first-party analytics to understand which pages help locals find trucks. Because Mobile Eats is a United States (Montana) service, basic analytics is on by default, and you can turn it off at any time from the “Privacy choices” link in the footer. Turning analytics off stops analytics storage and event collection for your browser.
Mobile Eats honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal. If your browser sends GPC, analytics is treated as off by default before any analytics loads, so you do not need to change anything. Mobile Eats does not enable advertising storage, ad personalization, or ad-user-data signals, and it does not sell your data.
6. Your Rights
You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of other personal information by contacting developer@zeststream.ai.
7. Children's Privacy
Mobile Eats is not directed to children under 13. If Mobile Eats learns that it collected personal information from a child under 13 without required consent, it will delete the information after review.
8. International Users
Mobile Eats is built for Missoula, Montana and is primarily intended for users in the United States. If you use Mobile Eats from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States and other places where Mobile Eats or its providers operate.
9. Changes to This Policy
Mobile Eats may update this policy as the service, legal requirements, or service posture changes. The current version is identified by the effective date and last updated date.
